College Mini-Camp Registration

Get hands-on instruction from top college coaches without having to travel.

Why did TopDrawerSoccer.com (TDS) start doing College Mini-Camps?

We realized that most club and high school soccer players were being missed by the "traditional" recruitment model. Furthermore, college programs across the country told us they were searching for new avenues to network with, and identify, players. Our mission is to connect high school age players who have the ability and aspirations to play college soccer with programs in need. We also recognized that club soccer is expensive, so our mini-camps offer a more cost-effective solution to traditional camps/combines because they are hosted at the same venues as the tournament that players are already traveling to. Players not participating in the attached tournament are more than welcome to attend, but the format (see below) may not be cost effective if travel and time costs are high.

Who can participate?

Unsigned boys and girls (approx. ages 14-18) may participate in the TDS College Mini-Camps.

What is the structure of the College Mini-Camps?

The overall duration is only about 2 hours to limit player fatigue before/during the tournament and reduce the possibility of injury. Players will participate in technical and functional work, receiving instruction from various college coaches to maximize recruiting exposure. Players will also participate in small-sided games.

What is the difference between the Mini Camps and other combines?

First and foremost, the price. The TDS College Mini-Camps are only $125 (early registration) and provide each player with exposure to dozens of college programs specifically looking for unsigned players. The College Mini-Camps also include nationwide post-event exposure from the TopDrawerSoccer Best XI articles that are distributed to every college in the country. Each player will receive a t-shirt and TDS Premier membership (1-year). Additionally, these mini-camps are at the same venue as our the tournament that players are already traveling to, therefore they do not have to travel to an additional combine/camp and incur additional travel expenses.

What is the difference between the Mini-Camp and showcases/tournaments?

The TDS Mini-Camps, like the recruiting process, are player-centric rather than team oriented. The TDS Mini-Camps allow players to generate the individual exposure needed to improve their recruiting status.

How will TDS Articles, Top 150/Regional Rankings, and/or Star Ratings be affected?

TDS Staff will be at the event to keep track of every player in attendance. Every event will have detailed Best XI articles and photo albums published. TDS Staff and coaches in attendance will keep notes on players to aid in the Rankings and Ratings (star) process. We do not guarantee that a player's Ranking or Rating will rise by attending an event, however the Mini-Camp is the best way for our staff to get a closer look at a player.

Where are the Unsigned Showcases hosted?

The TDS Mini-Camps will visit major regions across the country in 2023. To see a full list, click here.

What college coaches are attending?

Please click here to see a list of coaches attending. Please note, the list is updated daily and we cannot control whether scheduled colleges attend the day of the showcase. If you are attending one specific school, we recommend attending that program's college camp, as well.

How much does it cost?

The fee to attend the Mini-Camp is $125 (early registration), and includes a Free 1-Year TopDrawerSoccer Premier Membership. See locations for exact registration dates. Please note, if you sign-up within one one week (7 days) of the event date, the price will be increased $15.

Can family members and friends come to the Unsigned Showcase?

Absolutely! Family members and friends can watch the Mini-Camps from designated spectator areas.

What is your refund policy?

We will offer full refunds 7 days before a scheduled event. We will roll a registration towards a future event for a request within 7 days of an event. Refund requests within 7 days WILL NOT be honored. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to events@topdrawersoccer.com no later than 12:01 AM (Pacific Time) on the date outlined.

What if there is inclement weather?

Events will take place, rain or shine, unless conditions endanger the safety of the participants. Registered players may email events@topdrawersoccer.com to check the status of a scheduled event if inclement weather is pending. In the event that inclement weather or another act of God forces a Unsigned Showcase to be cancelled, attendees can transfer their registration to another Unsigned Showcase or receive an 85% refund.
