UCLA is recognized as the #1 collegiate athletic powerhouses of the 20th century and into the 21st. The UCLA Bruins won more NCAA titles in the 20th century than any other university and were the first to 100 NCAA titles. Virtually all of the 22 sports in the program compete yearly for NCAA team and individual honors. At UCLA, we recruit the finest student-athletes. Over the past five-plus decades, no school can match UCLA's combination of NCAA team and individual championships, football bowl games, men's basketball NCAA Tournament appearances and Olympic participation. Our student-athletes come from every walk of life and from around the world. Their commitment to excellence makes them Bruins.
