As the Division I soccer season rolls right along, scores of MLS Academy alumni around the country.

While the best of the best from pro academies are all electing to turn pro, plenty out there are still playing college soccer.

Below is a team-by-team look at how MLS Academy alumni fared over the past week at the Division I level.

Chicago Fire

Senior D Patrick Doody started, played 90 minutes and had an assist in Indiana’s 3-1 win against Saint Louis on Oct. 1. He also started, played 90 minutes and had an assist in a 3-0 win against Louisville on Oct. 7.

Freshman D Grant Lillard started and played 90 minutes in Indiana’s 3-1 win against Saint Louis on Oct. 1. He also started, played 90 minutes and scored a goal in a 3-0 win against Louisville on Oct. 7.

Junior M Drew Conner started and played 90 minutes in Wisconsin’s 2-0 loss against Marquette on Oct. 1. He also started and played 99 minutes in a 2-1 loss against Michigan on Oct. 4. He also started and played 90 minutes in a 1-0 win against Wisconsin-Green Bay on Oct. 7.

Senior F Tyler Engel came off the bench and played 50 minutes in North Carolina’s 3-2 win against Clemson on Oct. 3. He also started, played 84 minutes and had two assists in a 3-0 win against Campbell on Oct. 7.

Junior F Joey Calistri started, played 70 minutes, scored a goal and had an assist in Northwestern’s 3-2 win against Maryland on Oct. 5

Sophomore M Marcus Epps started and played 46 minutes in South Florida’s 3-0 win against Georgia Southern on Oct. 1. He also started and played 58 minutes in a 3-0 win against Temple on Oct. 4.

Freshman F Jeffrey Farina came off the bench and played 42 minutes in Notre Dame’s 1-0 loss against Boston College on Oct. 3. He also came off the bench, played 45 minutes and scored a goal in a 3-2 loss against Michigan on Oct. 7.

Senior GK Charlie Lyon started, played 90 minutes and made three saves in Marquette’s 2-0 win against Wisconsin on Oct. 1. He also started, played 110 minutes and made five saves in a 0-0 draw against Georgetown on Oct. 4.

Senior M Brady Wahl started and played 90 minutes in Marquette’s 2-0 win against Wisconsin on Oct. 1. He also started and played 110 minutes in a 0-0 draw against Georgetown on Oct. 4.

Sophomore M Louis Bennett started and played 79 minutes in Marquette’s 2-0 win against Wisconsin on Oct. 1. He also started and played 110 minutes in a 0-0 draw against Georgetown on Oct. 4.

Freshman M Hayden Cochran came off the bench and played 37 minutes in Memphis’s 1-0 loss against Connecticut on Oct. 4.

Chivas USA

Sophomore M Mario Ortiz came off the bench, played 68 minutes and scored a goal in UC Irvine’s 1-1 draw against Cal Poly on Oct. 2. He also started and played 77 minutes in a 1-0 loss against UC Santa Barbara on Oct. 4.

Sophomore M Romario Lomeli started, played 69 minutes and had two assists in UC Riverside’s 4-0 win against Sacramento State on Oct. 2. He also started and played 59 minutes in a 1-0 loss against UC Davis on Oct. 4.

Junior M Eric Gonzalez came off the bench and played 19 minutes in UC Riverside’s 1-0 loss against UC Davis on Oct. 4.

Freshman F Paul Salcedo started and played 46 minutes in California’s 3-2 loss against Washington on Oct. 2. He also started, played 54 minutes and scored a goal in a 6-2 loss against Oregon State on Oct. 5.

Sophomore MF Ricardo Perez started, played 67 minutes, scored a goal and had an assist in Creighton’s 3-2 win against Seton Hall on Oct. 4. He also started and played 55 minutes in a 1-0 win against Drake on Oct. 7.

Sophomore GK Andrew Epstein started, played 90 minutes and made five saves in Stanford’s 1-0 win against Oregon State on Oct. 2. He also started, played 90 minutes and made five saves in a 3-1 loss against Washington on Oct. 5.

Senior F James Rogers started, played 65 minutes and had an assist in New Mexico’s 6-1 win against West Virginia on Oct. 1. He also started and played 59 minutes in a 2-0 win against Florida International on Oct. 4.
