Akron stays #1, Penn State's Hertzog POTW

A pair of weekend wins served to keep the Akron Zips on the top of this week’s TopDrawerSoccer.com Men’s Tournament 48 National Ranking.

Caleb Porter’s Zips remained perfect after defeating Cincinnati and Cal State Northridge on the weekend. Akron is 5-0 and has yet to surrender a goal this season. Tulsa remained #2 in the ranking, while Ohio State dropped out of the top 10 following a pair of setbacks.

The Men’s Tournament 48 National Ranking is a running effort to project the 48-team NCAA Tournament field, including all automatic conference and at-large bids to the field. It is updated every Monday through the season. You can see the entire ranking here.
