Week in Consideration: September 25-October 1

D2 Women’s Player of the Week: Natalie Bunch, Regis

Two road conference matches for the Rangers posed no threat, thanks to Bunch, who netted two goals and set up one against Adams State, then recorded a hat trick versus New Mexico Highlands.

D2 Women’s Team of the Week: Florida Tech

Florida Tech battled to a hard-fought 1-1 tie at No. 19 Embry-Riddle, then returned home for a commanding 5-0 win over Saint Leo.


 

D3 Women’s Player of the Week: Natalie Tracy, University of Maine-Farmington(w)

The senior forward extended her stellar season with a hat trick and an assist in a 6-0 rout of SUNY Cobleskill, then followed with a brace featuring a late equalizer to tie SUNY Delhi 2-2.

D3 Women’s Team of the Week: Tufts

Tufts excelled in two ranked encounters during the week, tying No. 21 Wesleyan University 0-0 before overcoming No. 12 MIT 1-0.


 

NAIA Women’s Player of the Week: Samira Roper, Xavier (La.)(w)

The Gold Rush found the net frequently over their two outings, and Roper was pivotal with four goals against Texas College, followed by a hat trick against Southwest (NM).

NAIA Women’s Team of the Week: Georgia Gwinnett

Georgia Gwinnett posted a 3-0 week, beating No. 14 Cumberland 2-1, shutting out Point 5-0, and routing Talladega 8-0.
