Week in Consideration: October 9-15
D2 Men’s Player of the Week: Cameron Letterlough, Chowan
The freshman attacker extended his scoring streak to six matches, netting two goals against Southern Wesleyan and another versus Mount Olive.
D2 Men’s Team of the Week: Colorado Mesa University
Continuing an impressive second half of the season, the Mavericks routed Adams State 5-0, then stunned No. 9 Fort Lewis 4-1.
D3 Men’s Player of the Week: Nickolas Santana, Western Connecticut State
Santana combined composure with power, scoring twice in a 3-0 win over Southern Maine, then struck another brace, including an 87th-minute equalizer, to earn a 3-3 draw with No. 1 Williams College.
D3 Men’s Team of the Week: Wesleyan (Conn.)
In a defining week, the Cardinals upset No. 1 Williams College 1-0 and shut out Springfield 2-0, both on the road.
NAIA Men’s Player of the Week: Jack Thomas, LSU-Shreveport
With a goal against Our Lady of the Lake University, and two goals plus two assists in the win over Texas A&M-San Antonio, Thomas was instrumental to the Pilots' success.
NAIA Men’s Team of the Week: MidAmerica Nazarene
The Pioneers dominated at home, dispatching Culver-Stockton College and Missouri Valley College by a combined 6-1 scoreline.
