While the temperatures may have dipped in South Florida on Monday, the action on the field heated up in the annual US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (US Youth Soccer ODP) Girls Thanksgiving Interregional at the Spanish River Athletic Complex in Boca Raton, Fla.
 
The six-day event, which takes place Nov. 22-28 at Spanish River Athletic Park, features the teams in the 2002/2003 through 2006 age groups comprised of the top female players in the country. Games are scheduled to be played Monday through Thursday.
