2018 Boys Regional Rankings Update

Each Friday following the Monday release of an IMG Academy 150 update, we highlight eleven of the regionally ranked players from around the country for that class. All were recommended for their respective regional lists by our network of scouts and coaches.

GK Jonathan Biggs, Triangle FC Alliance Biggs is an agile, athletic keeper that was named to the TDS Unsigned Showcase DC/Baltimore in 2016.

D Justin McStay, Cedar Stars Academy – Monmouth – McStay attended US Club Soccer id2 camp in 2013, and now is a member of the Cedar Stars Monmouth U16 Development Academy.

D Tate Keir, Pateadores – The center back started 33 matches for the Pats U16s during the 2015-16 season, and has logged six matches for the 16s and one for the 18s this year. Keir earned his first goal of the season, the game winner against Real Salt Lake AZ, on October 15.

D Johnny Hansen, Sporting Kansas City – Hansen attended the 2014 ODP Interregional in Arizona as a representative of Region II and earned honorable mention All-Nebraska Soccer in 2015 before joining Sporting Kansas City Development Academy.

M Easton Embley, La Roca FC – Embley was a member of the U.S. U14 Boys National Team in 2014, and was named to the TDS Best XI at the 2015 ODP Championships. After a stint at Real Salt Lake- AZ Academy, he returned to La Roca FC where he plays for Dallas Cup participant La Roca TJ.

M Keagan Brown, Internationals - Brown has split time on the (Cleveland) Internationals U16 and U18 Development Academy teams this season, in either a defensive midfielder or center back role.

M Michael Hong, FC United – Hong was named to the TDS Best XI at the U16 Development Academy Showcase in December of 2015. He has started all five matches for United in the 2016-17 season.

M Fernando Garcia, Charlotte Soccer Academy – Garcia plays solely on CSA’s U18 Development Academy, and has started three of seven matches in the 2016-17 season. He is verbally committed to Charlotte.

M RJ Stretch, Eastside FC – Stretch was named to the TDS Best XI for his performance at the 2016 ODP Championships as part of Washington ODP. He is verbally committed to Portland.

F Will Richmond, San Jose Earthquakes – Richmond, a winger, scored the Earthquakes’ first goal of the season in a 2-1 win over De Anza Force on September 10.

F Vincent Jackson II, Vardar – Jackson has four goals in seven matches for Vardar’s U16 Development Academy this season. He was named to the Best XI at the NPL Championships, as well as the Best XI at the TDS Unsigned Showcase DC/Baltimore in 2016.
