2019 Boys Regional Rankings Update

Each Friday following the Monday release of an IMG Academy 150 update, we highlight eleven of the regionally ranked players from around the country for that class. All were recommended for their respective regional lists by our network of scouts and coaches.

M Kevin Kerr, Chargers SC – Kerr, a center midfielder, has five goals in eight matches for the Chargers U14 Development Academy. Previously, he was a member of the Region III ODP.

M Ethan Bryant, IMG Academy – Bryant has attended two youth national team camps in addition to US Club Soccer id2 while at San Antonio Scorpions. Now at IMG, Bryant has started every match for the U14 Development Academy.

F Connor Kelley, Crew SC Academy Wolves – Kelley was a member of the USYS Region II semifinalist Michigan Wolves 02 last season, and is a starter on the Wolves U14 Development Academy for the 2015-16 season.

M Benjamin Bender, Philadelphia Union – Bender joined the Union’s U14 Development Academy this fall from Fewster FC in Maryland, where he was a member of the Fewster U15 team that finished as 2015 USYS national runner up.

GK Mark Collins, DC United – Collins was promoted to the DC United Academy from Northern Virginia SC for the 2015-16 season.

D Nick Krueger, Shattuck St. Mary’s – Krueger was selected to the 2015 ODP Region II team and will compete in the ODP Interregional in November. He also plays on Shattuck’s limited season U14 Development Academy.

F Jorge Umana, World Class FC – Umana has started every match so far for World Class’ U14 Development Academy, scoring six goals, including a hat trick in his team’s 4-2 win over Beachside SC.

D Jack Ratterman, SC Del Sol – Ratterman was chosen to the ODP Region IV Top 18 in January of 2015.

D Jake Tovar, Carlsbad United – Tovar attended US Clubs Soccer id2 camp in March of 2014, and was selected to the ODP Region IV Top 18 in 2015.

D Ryan Alexander, Charlotte Soccer Academy – A starting center back for CSA’s U14 Development Academy, Alexander has helped his team to a 7-1-1 record with four shutouts and just six goals against in league play.

F Kevin Gonzalez, Houstonians – Gonzalez earned a spot on the TDS Best XI list for his two goal performance in the USYS U14 national final in July. He was also one of the leading scorers at the 2015 USYS Region III championships with four goals.
