36 players called into U.S. U18 MNT camp
The U.S. U18 Men's National Team is headed to Florida for a domestic training camp. The action kicks off on January 17 and wraps up on January 23. This is the first camp for new head coach Omid Namazi, who was hired to replace former U.S. U18 MNT head coach Javier Perez. Perez is now the assistant coach with New York City FC.
Namazi and his coaching staff have called in 36 players for the domestic camp. A number of the players are new additions to the U.S. Soccer Federation including six players who are listed with foreign clubs. Nick Taitague and Tyler Adams, two of the top players from the 1999 age group, are not part of this camp.
