A few U17s impress in July Camp opener

CARSON, California – The opening scrimmage from the U.S. U17 Men’s National Team July Camp at the National Training Center was an opportunity for the coaching staff to assess where the group was in one of the final events before the fall Residency Program semester.

The scrimmage against USL Pro side Orange County Blues ended in a 2-2 draw with Christian Pulisic and an own goal helping the U.S. respond from an early deficit in the second half. 

Among the 14 players who appeared in the game, there was a handful of noteworthy appearances from the youth national team perspective. Find out who did well below.
