In the first couple years of the program’s existence, the NYCFC Academy has made significant strides.
The MLS side inked its first Homegrown signing earlier this year in the form of James Sands, and one of its key members recently committed to a DI soccer program.
Goalkeeper Johan Penaranda will join Navy after making his commitment.
