Carrera signs Homegrown deal with FC Dallas

Goalkeeping prospect Antonio Carrera has signed a Homegrown contract with FC Dallas, the franchise announced this week.
The 33rd academy signing in team history, the goalkeeper originally joined the FC Dallas Academy as a 10-year-old back in 2014.
At No. 58 player in the 2022 Boys IMG Academy rankings, Carrera has spent the bulk of this preseason with FC Dallas.

He's also a longtime U.S. youth international, and is part of the U.S. U20 MNT player pool for the 2023 U20 World Cup cycle.
Per a press release, he will spend 2022 on loan with North Texas SC in MLS Next Pro.
