Champions were decided on the third and final day of games at the ECNL Boys National Finals in the St. Louis area.

Here’s a look at which teams won each of the five age groups.

U13: San Diego Surf

The Surf triumphed in a matchup of the sides from Southern California, winning the title game against Legends FC by a 2-0 score.

San Diego’s run began in the quarterfinals with a narrow 2-1 victory against Pipeline SC, before picking up a much more comfortable win versus Crossfire Premier.

Legends FC made it to the final thanks to a penalty kick triumph in the quarterfinals against Sporting (CA) Arsenal, and edged NTH-NASA by a 1-0 score.

U14: Dallas Texans

Storied club Dallas Texans added an ECNL Boys National Championship to its trophy case, besting a quality Seattle United squad on Monday.

Dallas opened the trip to St. Louis with a 3-1 win against SDSC Surf, then bested LAFC So Cal on penalties after the two sides drew 0-0 in the semifinal.

Before coming up just short, Seattle beat Heat FC by a 2-1 score in the quarters, and then secured a 3-0 win over a talented Beach FC squad to progress to the final.

U15: DKSC

A 2-1 win against Pipeline SC cued the celebrations for DKSC in the Under-15 age group.

The trip to St. Louis began with a 0-0 draw against Louisville City, and the Texas side advanced on the strength of a penalty shootout. Facing Texas rival FC Dallas in the semifinals, DKSC won by a 2-1 score, setting up the showdown against Pipeline SC.

Pipeline progressed to the final with a 2-1 win against Heat FC in the quarterfinals, then besting San Diego Surf 2-0 in the semifinals.

U16: Oklahoma Energy FC

Austin Hurt’s late strike secured Oklahoma Energy FC’s first win in 90 minutes in St. Louis, and also decided the Under-16 title. A 1-0 victory against Eclipse SC did the trick, after navigating to the title game against two tricky opponents.

OK Energy topped Pipeline SC on penalty kicks in the quarterfinals after a 1-1 draw, and then did the same to Arlington SA in the semifinals.

The U16 age group saw plenty of shootouts, as all four quarterfinals finished in ties. That included Eclipse, which topped Pateadores on penalties, before securing a spot in the final with a 3-1 win against FC Dallas.

U17: Pipeline SC

Brady Geho and Dom Dubon tallied in the final, as Pipeline SC won in a 2-0 tilt against a talented Match Fit Academy squad. The Maryland club team had sent four teams to the finals, and were able to walk away from the oldest age group with a trophy in hand.

Pipeline began its journey in St. Louis with a 2-1 win over Pateadores, before topping Dallas Texans in a semifinal shootout after the sides drew 2-2. On the other side of the bracket, Match Fit Academy progressed thanks to wins against San Diego Surf (4-1) and FC Dallas (2-1).
