The U14 Colorado Rush girls won the U15 Girls bracket of the prestigious Gothia Cup Soccer Tournament in Sweden on Saturday July 24th.

The Rush Girls defeated Boo IF of Sweden in the championship game 3-2. Brittany Stark scored all three goals in the final game and was named the Finals MVP. Stark also led the team with 10 goals over the course of the tournament.  The Rush Girls outscored their opponents 50-2 over 10 games in Sweden.  All 16 players on the roster scored at least one goal during the six-day tournament.

The Gothia Cup is considered one, if not the most prestigious youth tournament in the world. The U15 girls bracket alone had 130 teams from Scandinavia, America and even India.

The Gothia Cup team was made up of players from 4 separate Rush teams. The core of the group are players on the U14 Colorado Rush Nike team, 2 players are from the U15 CO Rush Nike, 2 are from the U13 CO Rush Nike and three girls are from the U14 Oregon Rush.
