D Autumn Brown, Merrick Force U16 (NY) – Brown had no quit in her, and she battled opposing offenders throughout the game’s entirety. She kept the opposition to the outside of the field and never let them cut to the middle while she was defending them. She took most of her team’s free kicks because of her strong boot.
D Natalie White, Jacksonville FC Storm U16 (FL) – White was a solid defender that managed to keep her opponents from getting around her with the ball. She stepped up in the play and made a difference.
