Forward Cameron Dunbar has signed a Homegrown contract with LA Galaxy, the club announced this week.
“Cameron has shown his quality as he has developed in our Academy and we are excited that he has signed his first professional contract,” LA Galaxy General Manager Dennis te Kloese said in a statment. “We are excited to see him continue to grow on and off the field as a professional.”
A prolific goal scorer in the Development Academy dating back to the 2015 season with Albion SC, Dunbar has scored 70 times in 122 appearances at a variety of age groups. He joined the LA Galaxy Academy ahead of the 2017-18 season.
Dunbar's been part of the U.S. Under-17 MNT, although he missed out on qualifying and the World Cup in 2019.
