The ECNL has been closely monitoring the weather forecast in Houston and surrounding areas. Based on the worsening expectations of extreme low temperatures through the weekend and the high likelihood of a wintry mix on Monday, as well as worsening conditions around the country impacting team travel to the event, we are canceling the ECNL Texas event scheduled for February 13-15, 2021.

The league’s priority is always to create the safest environment possible for players, staff and spectators. This includes playing conditions as well as travel to and from events. 

All teams who have remitted payment will be issued a full refund in the next 14 days.

The league has contacted Maverick Sports Travel, who recommends all teams immediately contact their hotel regarding cancellations. Please reach out to Maverick if you have any questions or challenges in this process.

The league is reviewing options to potentially reschedule this event at a later date for interested clubs. Please expect communication in the next 7-10 days with more information.
