ECNL Day 4 Best XI: Topping the group

REDMOND, Washington — Sunday at the ECNL Playoffs here provided a 90 minute lightning delay that failed to douse the fire on the field. TopDrawerSoccer.com's daily Best XI marches on with another selection of the tournament's top players. Sunday marked a day of rest for the U14s and U18s, which means the middle three tiers took center stage.

GK Alivia McKelvy, Charlotte SA U16: Sure, CSA lost 2-0 on Sunday, but it could’ve been considerably worse had it not been for McKelvy’s heroics between the posts. She made numerous diving saves, and one off a deep howitzer that required her to contort upward and punch it over the bar. She might not have ideal height and wingspan, but her instincts and quick-twitch reflexes are uncommonly good.
