Forty-eight players from all over the world have been called for U.S. Under-16 and U-15 Boys National Teams concurrent training camps from Sept. 10-17 at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center in Fayetteville, Ga.

U.S. Under-16 Boy’s National Team head coach Ross Brady has invited 24 players, all born in 2011. The U.S. U-15 BNT camp will also include 24 players, all born in 2012, and will be led by interim head coach Mutanda Kwesele.

This is the fifth training camp of the year for the U.S. U-16 BNT, and the team’s first camp for players born in 2011 at U.S. Soccer’s new home. Head coach Brady is now transitioning from coaching the U-15 BNT to now heading the U-16 BNT in this new age group cycle.

There are 22 MLS academies represented on this U-16 BNT squad with Los Angeles FC leading the charge with three players on the roster while Orlando City SC, San Diego FC, Colombus Crew and Houston Dynamo FC have two players each. There is one player representing CF Monterrey, a Liga MX club academy, and another player coming from an academy from a club in La Liga, Valencia FC.

The U.S. U-15 BNT will come together for the sixth time this year, with this training camp being their first at the National Training Center. This U.S. Under-15 BNT roster is also comprised of players from 22 MLS Academies with New York Red Bulls and New York City FC leading the pack with three players each. Additionally, there is one player representing USL Championship Club El Paso Locomotive FC and another representing a youth academy FC Florida.

These camps are a part of the Federation’s continued focus on the U.S. Way philosophy, which emphasizes increased programming for Youth National Teams to create more opportunities for young players to advance through the pathway to the senior National Team with the goal of representing their country at a world championship.
