The sun finally set on the ECNL Girls 2021-22 season, as five national champions were crowned at the National Finals in Richmond, Virginia.

Check out the five clubs that captured titles below.

U13: Solar SC

It was a Solar sweep at the youngest two age groups competing on Monday. In the Under-13 clash, the Texas club held a 2-0 lead against PDA Blue in the final. But the powerhouse from New Jersey is an extremely competitive club no matter the age group, and fought back to tie the game by 2-2, sending it to penalty kicks. When the game went to a shootout, Solar triumphed by a 4-2 score to hoist the trophy. Solar's time in Texas was impressive, winning 3-1 in the quarterfinals, 4-0 in the semifinals in the leadup to Monday's title triumph.

U14: Solar SC

The U14 final produced an extremely close affair, knotted at 0-0 at the half between Solar and Legends FC. An early second half goal put Solar up by a goal against the California side. While it remained at 1-0 for the bulk of the second half, eventually a second came for Solar, which won the title by a 2-1 score. Legends FC tallied a late penalty, but didn't have time to get a second.

U15: Slammers FC HB Koge

A familiar club side secured the U15 title, as Slammers FC HB Koge capped off a strong postseason performance with a 1-0 win in the final against Legends FC. Slammers were impressive in Richmond in particular, winning the quarterfinal by a 4-0 score, defeating Oklahoma Energy FC by a 3-0 margin in the semifinals, capped off with the 1-0 victory on Monday.

U16: SLSG Navy

By far one of the top teams in the U16 age group, SLSG Navy backed that up with a 1-0 win against a very talented Colorado Rapids squad. A penalty kick late in the second half provided the eventual winner for the side from Missouri. SLSG Navy needed penalties to advance in the quarterfinals, as Caroline Birkle was the hero, making a pair of stops against Slammers FC HB Koge. After following that up with a 4-1 win against Solar in the semifinals, SLSG found the edge one last time to win it all.

U17: Real Colorado National

Two goals in quick succession late in the first half put Real Colorado National on course for a title, and the storied side didn't look back, besting Beach FC 3-1 in the U17 championship. Real Colorado survived a marathon penalty kick shootout to even make it this far, besting Solar SC 12-11 in the quarterfinals. A much more comfortable 5-0 win against Sporting Blue Valley in the semifinal setup Monday's final against Beach FC, and once again, the talented side pulled it off.
