With the NCAA lifting the dead period for Division I programs, recruiting can resume for DI soccer. This weekend, the Girls ECNL is set to host 184 teams in the Greensboro, NC area for the final national event of the 2020-21 club season.

The focus will shift after this weekend to Florida, for the National Playoffs starting on June 30. This final weekend of action sees Under-15 through Under-17 teams make the trip, primarily focused on East Coast teams (with some obvious exceptions).

A strong number of teams making the trip will head into club action for the first time since the end of 2020, so the layoff could impact proceedings for some sides still chasing playoff spots.
