The Girls Academy spans from U13 to U18/19 age groups in the newly launched national league. The inaugural season for the league has been full of challenges, but the there have been some success stories along the way. 

The U16 age group features a number of familiar clubs that have raced out to impressive starts to the season. SC Wave, Utah Royals-AZ, and SC del Sol are among some of the standouts. Check out who leads each conference from the opening months of the season. 

Northeast 

STA (5-0-1) is at the top of the table in the Northeast U16 age group. The New Jersey squad scored 22 goals in the first six games of the season. Makayla Jaffe, Zoe Rogan, Chiara Cosenza, and Emma Radoncic have been among the offensive standouts for STA this season. They return to action in March with a crucial game against South Shore Select. 

South Shore (2-0-1) and Oakwood (3-1-1) are chasing STA at the top of the table. 

Mid-Atlantic 

Cedar Stars Academy - Monmouth leads the Mid-Atlantic conference with a 3-0 record at this stage of the season. Cedar Stars gets back into action in February against Baltimore Celtic Union. 

TSJ FC Virginia (6-1), Arlington Soccer Association (4-1-2), and Sporting Delaware (5-2-1) are all in the hunt. Cedar Stars Academy - Monmouth (3-0)

Southeast 

Tophat GA Gold (9-1) and ASWES Weston FC (5-1) lead the way in the Southeast Conference. Both teams only have one loss this season. Layla Sirdah, Anna Weir, Reese Black, and Madison Nichols have been among the standouts for Tophat this season. Jenna Sapong has been outstanding in goal for Tophat. 

Wake FC is also in the hunt at 4-2-2 on the campaign. 

 

Mid-America 

SC Wave (7-0-2) and Cincinnati United CUP (5-0-3) are the leaders in the Mid-America Conference. Amanda Schlueter has had a strong season for CUP. Tamia Graham, Madison Sands, and Aniyah Mack have also chipped in. 

Minnesota Eclipse is 2-1 at the early stage of the season and looking to make up ground on the leaders in the conference. 

Frontier 

Houston Dash (10-2-1) and Lonestar SC (11-3) sit at the top of the table in the Frontier Conference. Colorado Rush (9-2-2) is not far behind the pace either. Lauren Littleton has been a contributed in the attack for Dash. Brooklyn Bumgardner has been one of the top players at defense for the squad. Lonestar and Dash meet in February, which could be a crucial fixture for the postseason hopes of both teams. 

Southwest 

SC del Sol (7-0-2) is averaging more than four goals scored per game through the first few months of the season. Utah Royals FC - AZ (7-0-2) have the same record as their in-state rivals. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw earlier this season. They are scheduled to face off again on March 20. Hope Leyba is leading the way for the Royals with 11 goals this season. Hannah Mulholland and Eva Acker have also chipped in for some goals.
