Girls Academy Weekly Standouts: Oct. 3-4
It was a quiet weekend in the Girls Academy League as only a handful of clubs were in action. The lack of games provided a smaller list than normal for the weekly standouts, but there were still some noteworthy performances.
One of the key games from the weekend came from the Frontier Division, as Oklahoma Energy 07 (U14) improved to 7-0 on the season with a pair of wins over the weekend. Energy sits at the top of the standings through the first month of the season. However, Lou Fusz Athletic Blue Star Academy is not far off the pace with a 6-0-1 record and 0 goals conceded. The two teams are scheduled to face off for the first time this season on Nov. 8.
