A huge performance in goal from the weekend ensured that one team would emerge with a point.

Goalkeeper Rachael Black's shift between the posts helped SC del Sol U18/19 tie on Sunday, March 17th. Facing 20 Real So Cal shots on the day, including eight on goal, she helped her side to share the spoils in a 0-0 draw. Black is the latest Girls Club Soccer Player of the Week, presented by THINX. One of those saves can be seen below.

On the year, Black and her back line have combined for 12 shutouts in 23 games with a .565 goals against all while playing in one of the toughest divisions in the Development Academy, the Southwest Division. Ranked as the No. 59 player in the 2020 IMG Academy Top 150 rankings, Black is committed to join Colorado next year. She's made 23 appearances, all starts, during the 2018-19 DA season.

She wasn't the only contender for this week's Player of the Week. FC Stars East U15 forward Sheridan Brummett scored six goals and setup two more in a win against World Class FC on Sunday.
