Getting a jump on a college career can make a huge difference in a player’s development.
It’s far from an easy task, but it’s commonplace to see a trickle of players graduating high school in December and jumping into spring soccer right away. That offers benefits for both the player and coaching staff – the hopefuls get the chance to secure playing time in the spring and ideally impress the coaching staff ahead of the fall campaign, while the player also gets to adjust to the higher level.
This year is no different, as a number of top DI programs around the country have announced the early enrollment of freshmen into the spring season. Please note that this doesn’t include transfers and that this article will be updated as more announcements come out.
With that in mind, take a look at who is already on campus.
