Annapolis, Md. – The second-ever MLS NEXT All-Star Game took place at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility on campus at the Naval Academy.
It was an entertaining match that saw the East jump out to a 2-0 lead at the half through a pair of goals by Nashville SC forward Adem Sipic. The West answered back, as Paulo Rudisill scored and setup Adrian Wibowo to pull it back and make it 2-2. Goalkeeper Mohammed Shour saved a spot kick in the shootout, as the West won 5-4 on penalties.
Two separate teams played in each half, with all 44 players named to the game seeing the field.
Here’s a look at some of the standouts from the game.
