The annual Nike Friendlies kicks off this week, as the next generation of up-and-coming American talent gets the chance to showcase his talents for the U.S. U17 MNT.
Once again, Brazil, Portugal and Turkey are the opponents, as the friendlies take place in conjunction with the Boys Development Academy Winter Showcase in Florida.

While results aren’t the primary goal at this week’s tournament, it’s a perfect time for interim head coach Shaun Tsakiris to assess the status of the pool ahead of next year’s Concacaf qualifying tournament.
