DAVIS, California -- Despite heavy winds that raged on throughout morning and afternoon, the first day of the NorCal Premier Soccer NPL Spring College Showcase didn’t disappoint, with a slew of action and drama taking place in what was the penultimate match day for most clubs.

Over 100 college coaches gathered at the Davis Legacy Soccer Complex to watch matches from four tiers of play in five different age groups for both boys and girls at the massive, 16-field complex in Davis.

The matches proved mostly competitive, with sides fighting for NPL Champions League titles that would book them a ticket to this summer’s NPL National Finals in Indiana.
