Q&A with ECNL’s Sarah Kate Noftsinger: Pt. 2
ECNL Commissioner Sarah Kate Noftsinger sat down with TopDrawerSoccer.com at the National Event in San Diego for a discussion about all things related to the top girls club soccer league in the United States.
Below is the second part of the installment, which features Noftsinger’s thoughts on the new women’s professional league, NWSL, and how the stars of yesteryear are staying involved in youth soccer.
For part one of the conversation, check here.
TDS: How big is the staff at ECNL now?
Noftsinger: Seventy-three member clubs (laughs). We all support each other. If you look at actual staff, we have a front office. It is about efficiency. We could have a staff of 10 people, but is that the best use of all the funds right now? No. We want to put as much as we can back into it for the kids. So, we have really kept our administrative expenses as low as possible.
