Rapids sign Vint to Homegrown contract
The Colorado Rapids added another Homegrown player to its roster on Wednesday, announcing the addition of Will Vint.
Vint joins the Rapids after stints training with Manchester United and Atlanta United's Academy.
“Will is a promising, young talent with a high ceiling,” Pádraig Smith, Colorado Rapids EVP & General Manager said in a press release. “For him to have previously earned an opportunity with the academy of a club like Manchester United goes to show his potential and why we’re excited to have him join the Rapids.”

The midfielder joined Manchester United's Academy in 2017, when his father Peter worked at Everton Football Club. He returned to the United States ahead of the 2018-19 Development Academy season, joining the Atlanta United Academy. He played in 16 matches for Atlanta United 2 in the 2019 USL Championship season. At the end of the USL season, he returned to Colorado and has played in five games for the Rapids U19 team during the 2019-20 Dev. Academy campaign.
The Colorado native played for Real Colorado prior to moving to England. He'll likely see significant minutes for the Colorado Springs Switchbacks in the 2020 USL Championship season.
