The recruiting process is a complex and in many ways, an intimidating beast to conquer. Different players take a variety of approaches to picking a school to play for. Here’s a look at where one ranked player is in her search:
Hailey Skolmoski, Forward, Utah Avalanche
IMG Academy 150 Ranking: #45
Class: 2015
Goal scorers from the Utah Avalanche have gone on to do big things, and Hailey Skolmoski doesn’t have to look too far to see examples of players on the national stage. Her club has produced the likes of Emily Bruder (U.S. U17 Women's National Team attacker) and Kealia Ohai (U20 World Cup winner in 2012).
While Skolmoski hasn’t hit those same heights yet, she took part in a recent ODP trip to Costa Rica in February, and is still in the learning stages of a school search.
