Head coach Thomas Rongen called in 36 players from professional clubs, colleges and youth clubs, to train at the U.S. Olympic Training Center with a roster that includes FIFA U20 World Cup veterans Gale Agbossoumonde and Dillon Powers. Joining them are 17 players who represented the United States at the FIFA U17 World Cup in October.

NCAA championship game finalists Kofi Sarkodie and Zarek Valentin, of Akron, are also present along with teammate Ben Speas, a late addition. Speas replaced Birmingham, England’s Will Packwood who came down with an illness.

The camp is the first for Rongen that is made up exclusively of players born in 1991 or later, making them age-eligible for the 2011 FIFA U20 World Cup.
