Eight storied men's college Division I programs descended on Winston Salem this weekend to decide the Spring Soccer Cup.

A culmination of a series of exhibitions, North Carolina captured this year's competition. Facing Virgnia Tech(m) in the championship game, the Tar Heels won on penalty kicks after a 3-3 draw with the Hokies.

Pittsburgh topped Maryland by a 3-1 score, Virginia topped the hosts Wake Forest 1-0 and Clemson drew 2-2 with NC State.
