Surf has team on top of each ECNL division
					September 1, 2010

All hail the San Diego Surf. If the ECNL season ended today, the Southern California club would claim an unprecedented quadruple crown – sitting at the top of all four Challenge A divisions.

Of course, that’s not exactly true (accounting for goal differential, etc …) and the season is far from over, having just completed the opening Fall National Showcase this past weekend, but it’s still fun to throw out.

U15 Challenge A
Arsenal FC (2-0-1)
Skinny: Team was especially impressive during a 4-0 rout of San Juan SC on Saturday. Defense is stout as they kept a clean sheet in three straight games.
San Diego Surf (2-0-1)
Skinny: The Surf also recorded three shutouts including a dramatic 1-0 victory against the Colorado Rush on a game-winning goal from Courtney Coate.
U16 Challenge A
Real So Cal (2-0-1)
Skinny: Lit up the competition with tons of goals in Temecula, CA. This talented team includes Rachel Conners, Madison Kaplan and Ariel Shipp to name a few.
Arsenal FC (2-0-1)
Skinny: Blasted Mustang SC on the first day of competition. Team features Brooke Boothe, Kaitlyn Johnson, Jazzmin Mancilla and Sarah Teegarden.
San Diego Surf (2-0-1)
Skinny: Steady bunch that features the likes of Maura Duggan, Erika Leal and Victoria Manfredonia.
U17 Challenge A
Arsenal FC (2-0-1)
Skinny: A good balance of defenders and attackers, the Arsenal have a good chance to be there at the end of the season.
San Diego Surf (2-0-1)
Skinny: Probably most gifted of all the Surf teams. With superstars Laura Liedle and Kate Perry, this squad is in great hands.
U18 Challenge A
San Diego Surf 3-0-0
Skinny: Capped the event with a gritty 1-0 win victory over FC Milwaukee. Team includes Mariah Butera, Nikki Pappalardo, Jenna Pellegrino.
