Twenty-two players walked off the field – 11 proudly holding out their chests displaying the U.S. Soccer emblem over their hearts after a hard-fought victory.

Juan Carlos Michia slowly strides off the bench and onto the playing field with a soft smile on his face.

Michia tried to put some perspective on what had just transpired.

“What we see here are the seeds that are planted for 15 years in the future,” Michia told TopDrawerSoccer.com.

Out of context, it is another spin-doctor promising the magic bean stock. Yet, this is not a façade of promises and tall-tales. This is an expectation that today can show how good tomorrow will be.
