U18 MNT roster revealed for NTC tourney

The U.S. U18 Men’s National Team is in camp this week as it prepares for the 2015 U18 NTC Invitational. The U.S. will take on Uruguay and Czech Republic as part of the tournament. The first game for the U.S. is on Saturday, July 11 vs. Uruguay. The U.S. takes on Czech Republic on Monday, July 13. 

U.S. head coach Javier Perez called in 20 players for the tournament including U17 MNT forward Haji Wright, who is among six professional players on the team. 

The U.S. is attempting to defend its NTC Invitational crown after winning the U20 installment of the tournament last summer. The event marks the start of a busy week in Carson, California for U.S. Soccer staff, which is also hosting the semifinal and final of the Development Academy playoffs on July 16 and 18.
