U.S. U18 MNT to Meet for Training Camp
Head coach Javier Perez has named 35 players to the roster for his first camp at the helm of this team. All but three players have Development Academy ties. Real Salt Lake Arizona, Baltimore Bays Chelsea, CD Chivas USA, LA Galaxy, New York Red Bulls and Philadelphia Union each contributed two players to the squad.
Five players are currently plying their trade outside of the U.S., with Ethan Horvath and Kristian Scott both members of Stoke City in England. Matthew Dunn and Mobi Fehr play in Europe, while Esteban Rodriguez is part of the squad at Club Tijuana in Mexico.
Each player is age eligible for the 2012 FIFA Under-20 World Cup, with nine players born in 1994 and the rest born in 1995.
