ORLANDO, Fla. (December 29, 2010) – Day three of preliminary games concludes at the US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (US Youth Soccer ODP) Super Group at Disney's Soccer Showcase in Orlando, Fla.

US Youth Soccer ODP is known as the premier identification and development program for the nation's youth seeking the opportunity to compete at the national, professional and collegiate levels of play.  US Youth Soccer ODP is the original Olympic development program and the only elite player development program that can claim members of Major League Soccer and Women’s Professional Soccer, as well as a majority of current and past national and youth team members, as alumni.

After the first two days of the 1994 group produced just two goals, Region I shot to the top of the standings with a 6-2 victory over Region II. Region II took the early lead in the 5th minute when Juan Mendez poked in a corner kick. Region I answered in the 17th from Darius Madison, but Region II regained the advantage in the 25th when Gabriel Christianson volleyed in a cross from Daniel Szczepanek. After the restart it was all Region I as they netted five times in the second half. Madison notched his second to tie the game in the 58th on a cross from Daniel Bedoya and Bedoya then put away his first of two goals in the 64th to make it 3-2. Just two minutes later Jackson Eskay chipped the Region II keeper for a two goal Region I lead before Bedoya scored again on a free kick and Joshua Mercer finished things in the 78th.

With the number two seed on the line, 1994 Region IV twice battled back from a goal down to draw with Region III 2-2. Evaldo Pedro scored twice for Region III, the first to go ahead in the 8th minute. Matthew Tilley brought the score level in the 45th for Region IV, but Pedro struck again in the 68th to put Region III up again before Josh Miller equalized for Region IV just before the end. With Region I, III and IV finishing with identical 1-0-2 records, Region I advances as the top seed per goal differential and Region III won a coin toss for the second seed to meet after finishing with matching goal records with Region IV.

Region I also took the first seed in the 1995 group as they defeated Region II 1-0. In a closely contested game, Michael Pcholinsky produced the difference in the 70th minute after he settled a cross in the box and fired into the net for the only goal.

1995 Region III fought back from a goal down to draw 1-1 against Region IV to stay unbeaten and earn the No. 2 seed. Trevor Hyman put Region IV up in just the 6th minute, but a free kick blast from Region III’s Daniel Johnson in the 45th leveled the game for good.
