The 2018 edition of the Women’s World Cup kicks off this Sunday, on August 5.

The United States is chasing its fourth win in the history of the tournament. It faces a tricky path to the knockout rounds in Group C, and a potential quarterfinal matchup against a team like China or Germany.
Head coach Jitka Klimkova has a roster comprised entirely of college or soon-to-be college players. While this year’s schedule doesn’t overlap in the same way that the tournament did in 2016, if the United States goes deep, it will keep top talent unavailable to some coaches until September.
Regardless of whether or not the USA wins another World Cup, there are plenty of reasons to watch the U.S. (all games will stream on Fox Sports 2 or Fox Sports Go). If you tune in, keep an eye on these four.
