The Development Academy is over. The U.S. Soccer Federation-run league shut down operations on Wednesday in a terse statement that was issued to clubs and published on social media.
There is going to be a lot of anger toward the Federation, justifiably, given how this was handled after how much was asked of clubs, coaches, parents, and players to participate in such a league.
