U.S. Soccer is hosting a YNT Regional Identification Center in Indianapolis on May 11. The one-day event features the top talent from the region in the 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 age groups. The younger groups train in the morning while the older groups take the field in the afternoon.

Twenty-nine players were called into the Identification Center in Indianapolis in the 2005/2006 age group. There was a fairly even distribution among the call-ups between the local clubs in the area. Internationals had a slight advantage with four players called into the event. Michigan Hawks, Nationals, SLSG-Navy, Eclipse Select, Cincinnati United Premier, and Sporting Blue Valley each had three players called into the event.

U.S. Soccer Youth National Team head coach Tracey Kevins is overseeing the event. Katie Cole, Lindsay Basalyga, Mike Dickey, Dustin Downey, and Tiffany Hansen are also working the event.
