The Akron men's soccer team has added another verbal commitment for 2018.
RSL-AZ Academy defensive midfielder Sammy Tojaga confirmed his decision to play at Akron over the weekend.
Tojaga recently wrapped up his first season in Casa Grande, playing in a total of 34 Development Academy matches for the Under-16 team. He started in 26 of those, helping RSL qualifying for the playoffs with a record of 22-8-6.
The midfielder is the third player committed to join Akron in 2018, along with U.S. youth national team defender Carlo Ritaccio and Crew SC Academy's Colin Biros.
