There’s clearly been a diminish in interest in the MLS Draft, particularly from the franchises within the league.
But it isn’t going away, as the 2020 draftees begin preseason, looking to stake a claim on a roster spot and what could be surprisingly prominent role. There could still be valuable for teams that are willing to look, and bolster either their roster on the fringes, or build out a USL roster.
