Big Ten to play conference-only schedule
If fall sports are feasible, the Big Ten announced it would play a conference-only schedule in 2020. That includes men's and women's soccer.
According to the announcement, more details will be released at a later date.
In this scenario, that would leave men's soccer programs with just eight games in the upcoming season. The women's teams would play 13 games if a season were completed.

It's unclear what the ramifications for postseason soccer would be at this time. Additionally, the release indicates that Big Ten student-athletes who choose not to participate in athletics during the summer or 2020-21 academic year due to concerns about COVID-19 will continue to have their scholarship honored by their institution and will remain in good standing with their team.
