BROCKPORT, NY—Brockport (6-0-2/2-0) scored once in each half to blank Buffalo State (3-5-1/0-2), 2-0, in a SUNYAC matchup this afternoon.
The Golden Eagles scored off a long throw-in in the 28th minute and then took a 2-0 lead on an own goal, as a Buffalo State defender attempted to clear the ball after a Brockport corner kick.
Both teams finished with 12 shots, while also recording four corner kicks apiece. Freshman Robby Kuhnle (Pleasant Valley/Arlington) had two saves in the loss.
Buffalo State will next play host to Fredonia on Saturday at 1 p.m.
