Final Stats

The University of Cincinnati women's soccer team suffered their first home loss of the season as Temple tallied two second half goals to win, 2-1.

The Bearcats dominated the first half as they outshot the Owls, 10-3, and recorded a goal in the 35th minute. Despite generating a number of chances in the box, TU's keeper made multiple saves that kept the match close.

The second half was a different story as Temple played with UC and was able to notch two goals in the final 20 minutes.

CIN - Julie Gavorski (unassisted), 35th
The Bearcats bent in a free kick from right side of the field, and the keeper came out of goal to punch the ball. Her punch sent the ball directly up in the air, and Gavorski posted up under it to drive in the goal with her head. CIN 1, TEM 0

TEM - Erin Lafferty (free kick), 73rd
Lafferty took a free kick from about 25 yards out and bent it inside the upper right corner of the goal. CIN 1, TEM 1

TEM - Kelly Farrell (unassisted), 80th
Temple had a free kick into the 18-yard box that was headed up by multiple players. The ball luckily fell behind the pack where Farrell was waiting. She took a quick touch to her right and then drilled a shot to the inside of the far post. TEM 2, CIN 1
