BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Along with her Patriot League Rookie of the Week award announced on Monday, Lehigh women's soccer freshman Grace Correll has garnered a pair of additional regional and national honors. Correll was named to College Soccer 360's National Weekly Honor Roll while also earning ECAC Rookie of the Week. The freshman scored both goals in last Wednesday's 2-1 win at Lafayette while assisting on the only goal in a 1-1 tie against Boston University Saturday.

Correll joins the nation's top standouts from the past week on the CS 360 National Honor Roll, joining players from schools like Penn State, Florida and Virginia, among others. The Bay Head, New Jersey native began the scoring midway through the first half at Lafayette, finishing a lefty strike into the top-right corner of the goal to make it 1-0. She added much-needed insurance at the 76:14 mark, heading a free kick into the back of the net. That insurance proved crucial as Lafayette scored in the 84th minute to pull within one, but Lehigh didn't allow a shot the rest of the way for the big Patriot League road victory.

Correll went on to dish an assist on Lehigh's only goal in a 1-1 tie against Boston University, ranked #6 in the Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings. She made a centering feed to senior Darby Wiegand in the 66th minute, who evened the score at one.

The ECAC honor marks Lehigh's second in as many weeks as junior goalie Ani Nahapetian earned Co-Defensive Player of the Week following her eight-save performance at Bucknell.

Lehigh's team leader in points, Correll is third in the Patriot League in points (11) and tied for fifth in goals (4). She wins Rookie of the Week for the second time in her career after receiving the honor after her one-goal, one-assist effort vs. Binghamton.

The Mountain Hawks return to action on Wednesday night when they host Princeton at 7 p.m. Lehigh will then return to league play at Loyola on Saturday. Opening kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
