DAYTON SHUT OUT BY FLORIDA GULF COAST

FT. MYERS, Fla. – The University of Dayton women's soccer team (0-2-0) fell 2-0 to Florida Gulf Coast (1-0-1) Sunday at FGCU Soccer Complex.
STATS OF THE MATCH
- -The temperature in Ft. Myers, Fla. was 93 degrees and felt like 104 degrees. The teams took a mandatory water break in each half.
- -FGCU outshot the Flyers 18-7.
- -Flyer freshman goalkeeper Kaelyn Johns had six saves in goal.

- -The Flyers' home opener is vs. in-state rival Ohio State at Baujan Field this Thursday, Aug. 27 at 7:30 p.m.
