DAYTON SHUTS OUT SBU
DAYTON, Ohio - The University of Dayton women's soccer defeated visiting St. Bonaventure 3-0 Friday night at Baujan Field.
Seniors Alexis Garcia and Colleen Williams and freshman Ashley Campbell each scored. Junior Juliana Libertin had three assists, and senior Alysha Mallon and Campbell each had one assist for the Flyers who improve to 11-4-0 overall and 5-1-0 in Atlantic 10 play.
The Bonnies drop to 5-10-1 overall and 2-4-0 A-10.
Garcia scored on a header off Libertin’s corner in the 31st minute. Less than a minute later, combination play from Campbell to Libertin to Williams in the 32nd minute led to a 2-0 Flyer lead.
Campbell closed out the scoring in the 56th minute on assists from Mallon and Libertin.
The Flyers had 25 shots to SBU’s 9.
